Aim to neutralise the attacker and walk away; ideally unharmed.

Discover how to keep a cool head, avoid conflict and cope with hostility. 

Learn what doesn't work
Self defence training highlights the tendency to panic, tense-up and exposes naive, ineffective ways of perceiving the situation.

Syllabus
Self defence training is part of the taijiquan syllabus.

We don't teach self defence courses
We don't believe in them. People expect to learn something functional after a couple of hours. It doesn't work like that. You can't address fear, confusion, panic, accuracy etc in a session or two.
